What is the future of SEO?

In the future there will be no SEO.  Google and other search engines will perfect the algorythm so there you will have very little chance to skew the odds of ranking higher in your favor.

Many people ask me how do I get people to notice my website? How the can I attract visitors. How do I rank high in Google? Why do I have no links?

Here is the answer or at least the future of SEO. The only way to develop your website, in my opinion, is to build quality content. I wasted so much time trying to find the best WordPress plugins (I use only about five plugins and a very well SEOed theme) and code to help my websites.  I hung out on Twitter and build a ‘friend list’.  All this time I could have been building content.

Content is the future of SEO

Quality content is not recycling the content from other people’s websites. Quality content is writing something that is unique. Building a learning resource for example, that people can come back to. That is the future of SEO.

That is it, something of interest or value to other people. Forget the hype about social media, time is too valuable.  I am sure you have herd this mantra before but it is true today and will be true in the future when it comes to SEO is content well written.

Search engine optimized content is creative content

Using your creative talents in a positive way instead of a negative tricky way is what  the universe will reward you with.  I know this is hard to believe when you have people making their living off of search engine optimization but that is the hard truth. There is no easy way. I teach languages and people want to learn a language in a week, and I tell them the truth.  People are not really gifted in languages, rather it takes patience and work.  They do not want to hear it but its true.  Today and in the future SEO is the same hard work. So do not waste your time reading too may SEO sites.

Useful, practical content writing by you, will make you money.

The best way to develop ideas about what to write about is to bring a clipboard or notepad with you where ever you go.  While in the bus, or tram I jot down my ideas. However, the best time is when I am shopping with my wife.  I do not have a cell phone anymore as it is a time vortex, I would rather use my brain to develop content then to simply yak away.
Sometimes, when I am sitting on a park bench I get my best ideas. In the evening. I come home and put together of basic sketch of what I want to write about after that often I sleep with my notepad by my site.

The next morning, I get up early in the morning. For me it is the best time to write because the whole house is quiet.  If there is nothing to distract me, actually writing the post takes under an hour. However, with proper organization and I can write three times as much.

Where can I get my ideas for future content

The question is how to develop ideas, and put those ideas on paper. The way to develop ideas is write about what you really like.

Further for me to create creative ideas I think the best way is to expose yourself to many different types of things .  For example, to not just read about SEO .  Read about things that truly interest you .

If you read about things that truly interests you then try to make a connection to your targeted idea of your content will be more creative and more interesting.

Let me explain let’s say you’re interested in history; however, the targeted subject of your post is “how to write SEO content”, then the best way to write would be perhaps combine the history of writing with blogging and how blogging has changed writing over the last ten years.  The next step would be to bring this into some sort of fusion with the idea of SEO.

Spending your time in this way, using your own creativity and interests, is the future of SEO. Spending your time worrying about the best plugins or social media optimization, or reading too many ‘experts’ is not the future of search engine optimization.
